Expanding our range of DIN rail AC-DC power supplies, these competitively priced, lightweight, compact units have a low-profile case of a similar profile to that of circuit breakers, allowing them to fit in consumer unit style housings, or in control panel installations. The standard width cases allow direct substitution with our low cost competition. The type of applications the DRC range is ideal for are: Escalator/travellator/elevator/lift control; Building heating/aircon monitoring, control & security systems; Factory automation; Machine & Process control.

The 30W DRC30 and 60W DRC60 have a choice of five DC outputs: 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V. The 100W DRC100 has a choice of four DC outputs: 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V. An output adjustment screw is provided on the front of each device (see models & ratings tables for adjustment range).

There is no minimum load requirement, the no-load input power is 0.3 to 0.4W depending on model. A DC ‘OK’ LED provides clear indication of an active DC output. All models feature internally fused input protection, overvoltage, overload & short circuit protection. The input to output isolation is 4kVAC, all models are class II and have an input range of 85 to 264VAC, with derating below 100VAC, or alternatively 120 to 370VDC with derating below 140VDC.

EMC standards include: EN55032 Class B for conducted and radiated emissions; EN61000-4-2,3,4,5,6 for EMC immunity; Safety approvals include UL62368-1 & TUV EN62368-1.The operating temperature range is -30°C to +70°C with full power available from -10°C to +45/50°C, see data sheet temperature derating graphs. The MTBF is >300 khrs. (MIL-HDBK-217F, +25°C GB) with an operating altitude of 2000m.

The DRC range are housed in lightweight black plastic UL94V-0 rated cases with a snap on DIN rail (TS35/7.5 or TS35/15) mounting with spring loaded release catch. Connection is via screw cage clamp terminals wire gauge 12 to 24AWG. The DRC30 measures 3.65” x 1.38” x 2.28” (92.7 x 35.0 x 58.0 mm), weight: 115g; The DRC60 measures 3.65” x 2.05” x 2.28” (92.7 x 52.0 x 58.0 mm), weight: 175g; The DRC100 measures 3.65” x 2.76” x 2.28” (92.7 x 70.0 x 58.0 mm), weight: 235g.
